Robert Douglass has been a pivotal figure in the Drupal community since 2004. He authored the first book on Drupal, "Building Online Communities with Drupal, phpBB, and WordPress" (Apress, 2005), and served as the technical editor for all three editions of "Pro Drupal Development." Additionally, he contributed to "The Definitive Guide to Drupal 7" and "Building E-commerce Sites with Drupal Commerce."
As a core contributor, Robert played a significant role in four different Drupal versions and developed essential modules like Memcache and Solr. His leadership extended to the Drupal Association, where he was a founding member of the German Drupal Association and participated in the Drupal Security team.
He is currently Entrepreneur in Residence at Open Strategy Partners, a strategic content marketing agency focusing on B2B tech companies and open source.
