Omotola is one of the Outreachy organizers, a paid internship program aimed at improving diversity in open source, where she manages the community. She leads the community team at She Code Africa, a community of over 19,000 women in tech across Africa. Here, she’s empowering women to contribute to open source projects and ensure women are equally represented in all career roles in tech.

Omotola expands her experience and expertise as a consultant, one of which is heading the community/DevRel team at Chimoney, a fintech organization enhancing payment protocol for businesses.
