Prior to Ringer, Simon led technical talent at Manifest Group and Proofed, and spent years working with early-stage startups across a broad range of industries, helping them go from “0 to 1”. It was at one of these startups that he learned the power of seeking expert advice from contributors and maintainers of open-source projects. In May of this year, he started work on Ringer, aiming to give open source contributors and maintainers a turn-key solution to enable them to earn from their knowledge and make it easier for technical teams to access that expertise.
