Before joining the world of big tech, Per spent 10 years in the founding team of the self-sustained open source project Umbraco. An open source content management system with 350.000 community members. There he dabbled with 10-15 different income streams while also leading product and engineering.
Later he joined Zalando to work on open source in an enterprise context, before becoming head of their Product Security teams. In January 2022, Per switched to Spotify to lead the effort of establishing an OSPO and open source strategy.
