Juan Pablo Alperin is an Associate Professor of Publishing, the Scientific Director of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), and co-Director of the Scholarly Communications Lab. He is an active leader and advocate in the Open Science movement and has done extensive research on related topics, including academic career incentives, Open Access, preprints, and science communication.
