Stephen Jacobs is the Director of Open@RIT, an RIT Key Research Center that also serves as its Open Programs Office. His Open Work has been funded by The Ford, Alfred P. Sloan, UNICEF and Linux foundations, All Children Reading, The Impact Transfer Zero Project, Red Hat, Northern Telecom, and AT&T. He is a founding member of the Open 3D Foundation, was the first academic member of the TODO Group Steering Committee and works with the CHAOSS Community on Academic and OSPO metrics. He has been a keynote speaker at O3DCon and has spoken at many Open Source conferences including OSPOCon, All Things Open, Pycon, LF Member Summit and others.
