Smera is a product designer with three years of experience in the design industry. She specialises in creating user-centric solutions for web and mobile applications, as well as user experience design.
She has a background in Computer Science Engineering, which gives her a unique perspective and helps her collaborate effectively with engineers. With her technical background and experience in design, she is well-equipped to consider the possibilities and limitations of technology when crafting intuitive and visually striking user interfaces.
In addition to her work in the design industry, she is also passionate about mentoring and open source design. She has mentored several designers in open source projects and she's particularly proud of her work with Outreachy, a program aimed at increasing diversity and representation of underrepresented communities in tech.
