Chris is a communications specialist with extensive copywriting and multimedia production experience. Simply put, he is a storyteller.
He began his writing career as a Naval mass communication specialist. They operated as backpack journalists tasked with telling the Navy’s story. He and his crewmates went out each day with camera and notepad to interview sailors, learn about their lives, and document their experiences. They chronicled these stories through written articles, photojournalism, broadcast productions, and graphic layouts that the department of defense utilized for public relations and recruiting efforts.
Once home in Rochester, New York, he joined Nazareth College’s marketing team as a web content specialist writing website copy and authoring a variety of digital and print articles. After producing several donor and alumni engagement videos, he was tasked with creating comprehensive multimedia packages tailored to drive social media traffic to the school’s website.
He is currently the senior technical writer and content developer for a metrology equipment manufacturer. He interviews subject matter experts, translating complex procedures and concepts into digestible marketing literature, user guides, owner’s manuals, and training material. He has also introduced targeted multimedia content including CAD drawings, explainer videos, clearly captioned photos to enhance customer support efforts.
